Major is a 22 year old grade
gelding that we've owned for eight years. He is a good example of how a natural horsemanship program can turn a difficult
character into a contributing member of society. He's up for sale because he could be an excellent teacher for someone looking
to go through a natural horsemanship program - Clinton Anderson, Chris Cox, Pat Parelli or others.
He has been through two Level II courses
at the Parelli International Study Center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and a 10-week training course where he passed through
Level III. He is short a Level III certification by canter half-pass, flying lead changes. He can be ridden bareback and bridle-less
and is really fun to play with on the ground. $2000 to a good home only. Lease option may be considered.

Joy could make somebody a superstar. She
is probably the smartest horse we have ever played with but also the most sensitive. With her explosive speed and sharp mind
she would make a tremendous, competitor around the barrels or in other speed events. She has a strong natural horsemanship
start and is respectful and willing on the ground. She has about 15 rides and needs someone with the confident colt-
development skills. Put simply, she needs more time than we can give her. Slow, consistent, gentle training may turn this
horse into a star. We are pricing her to move at $1,500 but are sincerely looking for someone to recongize her innate talent.
Checkout Rooster's big, easy stride.
Rooster is the Kirk Ranch resident sweetie. He's a big
guy at 16.1 and has been ridden and packed all over the Rocky Mountains. He's coming seven and we think with some guidance
he could be turned into a number of things. Foxhunting came to mind because of his large stride and experience traveling through
the woods. This horse can cover some ground and is fun to ride. He is listed here because he's unlikely to make it as a cutting
horse. Priced to sell at $1500.

Watch Belle work a calf on YouTube.
Belle is a coming seven
year old mare that's been with us since she was a two-year old. She's an own granddaughter of Tanquery Gin on the top side
and one of our go-to horses when we have a long day of cattle work or gathering to do. She is solid and sweet as she can be.
She has been ridden extensively through the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is at home doing every day ranch work from gathering
to sorting to roping. Belle will make a great ranch horse versatility competitor. $7,500
Watch 3-year-old Rocky lope quietly through the field.
Rocky will be four in the spring
and frankly we're a little amazed at his calm and independence. He is very gentle and willing. He happily trailrides, follows
cattle, crosses water. We purchased him to sell and have put about 90 days on him. He lopes quietly around the arena and out
in the pastures. He seems fairly willing to do whatever is asked of him. Turn him into a ranch versatility horse, a working
cow horse or just a pleasure horse. Very sweet. He is priced to sell at $2000.
