Often people who purchase historic ranches and large tracts of land have little experience running them. They require a lot of work and if not properly managed a ranch can become an expensive hassle, an eyesore or a money pit.

Kirk Ranch Consulting can help. We meet with the property owner, walk or ride the property, and evaluate its condition. Then, based on the owners' goals, we develop a plan. Our experience makes us uniquely qualified to establish a working cattle operation, a hunting preserve, a horse operation or just a picturesque ranch retreat.

Sam makes recommendations about planning, equipment and staff and begins leading the basic restoration work himself. This process can take six months to two years. Once the ranch has reached a maintenance stage, a permanent manager is hired. All of our work is done by contract and negotiable based on the client's needs.
