At Kirk Performance Horses, we believe in slow,
natural starts for our colts. We purchase foundation-bred Quarter Horses as two-year-olds. We pony them, saddle them, pick
up their feet and teach them to stand tied, load and bathe quietly. We use a system of pressure and release, which
we believe helps develop trust and solid minds. As three-year-olds, we use them to work cattle, check fences, cross water,
pony younger horses, open gates etc. By the time they are shown here, they are quiet, respectful working Quarter horses. All Kirk Performance Horses are guaranteed 100% sound.
