Sam is a life-long rancher, horse and cattleman.
He specializes in taking over run down ranches and restoring them. Having ranched for most of his life,
Sam can quickly identify what infrastructure, design and equipment improvements will have the biggest impact on a ranch operation.
But he is also skilled at working with ranch owners of diverse backgrounds to refine and implement their vision for their
property. From fencing, ditching, hay making, structure design and repair, heavy equipment work, livestock
management, Sam is a working Western cowboy with more than 20 years of ranch management experience.

Erin is a long-time horsewoman, writer,
photographer and small-business owner. Married to Sam since 2005, she has developed many ranching skills
such as heavy-equipment operation, colt-starting, basic horseshoeing and haymaking. But Erin's real skills lie in sales, marketing
and small business management. Erin is a writer, a former three-day eventer and manages the day to day operations
of Kirk Ranch Consulting. She also grows much of the family's food and sells produce at the weekly farmer's market.
